Get Funded To Start Day Trading with $500 or Less
It is not recommended to try and find an offshore broker that will allow you to bypass the PDT rule. SureTrader was one such company that ultimately met it’s demise late in 2019. Back when I decided to trade with them I wasn’t completely happy with the brokerage but you get what you pay for.
Today, it is really not wise to start day trading with less than 25k. So the only way to do this is to get funded!
How To Get Funded To Start Day Trading With Little Money
There are two avenues for traders with little starting funds to begin day trading.
First consideration that will need to be made is that you will need to learn to trade the Futures market or the Forex market.
If you know some basic technical analysis and can read a candlestick chart then other than learning how to read the data you are fed, trading these markets is similar to stocks or crypto.
The company that will fund you to trade is TopstepTrader. Here is my full review of the program. But in brief:
If you are a talented trader, Topstep will fund you up to $300,000 of their money to trade Futures or Forex.
The only catch is that you need to prove you can be profitable.
The “Trading Combine” is their live trading test in which you will trade in a live, simulated trading environment. If you can meet the profit targets and keep within certain rules for 2 rounds of the combine then you will ultimately get funded to day trade for less than $500!

Once you get funded, and start making profit. You can withdraw at any time. Upon withdrawal, Topstep will take 20% of the cut and you will keep 80%.
